**************************************************************** Paulo Cavadas is a Portuguese musician, born in Coimbra, on July 6, 1965. He is the mentor of the musical project Nefelibatas. Author of the lyrics and music, he is also one of the guitarists of the band and vocalist with Rita Bandarra. Formed in 1998, the band's songs are always presented in Portuguese. Along their existence, they have been participating in several music festivals in Portugal, reaching 1st place in the Novo Rock Nacional in Marco of Canavezes - 1998; 2nd place III Festival Música Moderna Novos Caminhos -Corroios/Lisboa - 1998; 1st preliminary round of the 38st Festival RTP of the Song - 5st place (2000). The musical language is predominantly pop, but with rather dissonant and funky sonorities. Some of the originals are closer to ballads (hear "I Feel the fire"). The lyrics have trivial thematic, describing sensations, emotions and dreams. Sometimes, the eroticism emerges in their words (Afoga-te no meu mar (Drown you in my sea) Dá-me o teu bailado/ e afoga-te no meu mar/ que te ofereço por prazer/ sente o que me envolve/ e agita o teu corpo/ nessa dança estonteante/ que me enlouquece..." Give me your ballet / and drown in my sea / that I offer you for pleasure / feel what involves me / and shake your body / in that stunning dance / that makes me mad...Prisioneiro depressivo (Depressive Prisonera), other available theme in itunes, portrays moments where anyone can meet each other, but where the search of freedom is inside themselves. Perfume da paz (Perfume of peace) speaks about the persistence needed to reach your dreams - four nice and essential themes, available through here, and extracted from the 1st CD entitled Perfume da paz (Perfume of peace), edited in 2004 by N Produções (Portugal). This first CD was recorded by Francisco Martins and Pedro Janela, with mixtures and masterization of Jorge Cervantes, Peruan producer resident in Lisbon, known in Portugal through the works accomplished with the Portuguese composer and singer Sérgio Godinho. The band: Voice l - Rita Bandarra; Voice and electric/ acoustic guitar - Paulo Cavadas; Electric guitar - Jorge Anacleto; Keyboards and voice - Francisco Fernandes; Electric Bass - Ivo Nogueira; Drums - Manuel Félix.
